About Ella

My name is Ella Worsdale and I am currently the Head of Business Intelligence for Integral UK (JLL). I joined Integral in August 2021 after working for the NHS for 16 years. I am driven by my passion to help people see and understand data. Discovering Tableau and subsequently the Tableau and data community has completely transformed my knowledge, skills and approach to my role as a data leader.

In 2018 I won the first Future Digital Health Leader Award at the Digital Health Awards. I still can’t quite believe I was nominated nevermind won, it was so amazing to be recognised in such a way. It was both motivating and humbling.

I am currently a Tableau User Group Ambassador and extremely passionate about supporting others with their Tableau journey. It is a great honour to be given this responsibility. I am the co-leader of the Northwest Tableau User Group (#NWTUG) and I also helped to run UK Healthcare Tableau user group (#UKHealthTUG) until end of 2021. I love being part of these groups and love bringing fellow Tableau enthusiasts together through these forums.

In October 2019 I was awarded the Tableau Community Founders award and was given the opportunity to attend the Tableau Conference in Las Vegas in the November. I still have to pinch myself that this actually happened! The conference was epic!

I passed the ILM Level 5 Qualification in Coaching and Mentoring in 2020. I was really keen to develop these important skills so that I could enhance my leadership style and behaviour and help others achieve their potential. This course and subsequent qualification is probably one of the best things I have done in years. It fully opened my eyes to the power of coaching and I for one cannot recommend coaching enough! If you are interested in finding out more about coaching then give me a shout.

I live in the Peak District (UK) with my husband and two sons. I love being a mum, and challenge myself everyday to make sure I have a good worklife balance! I like to keep fit; I am currently into HIIT workouts and running (not at the same time). I have found both really are a great way for me to look after my mental health as well as my physical health. I also love drawing and reading.

I decided that 2019 was the year I would starting blogging, so here I am still blogging. I hope you enjoy my blogs!
