My name is Ella Worsdale and I am the Head of Information for the NHS. I have been working for the NHS for over 14 years and I am really passionate about using data to improve services and ultimately patient care. One of the biggest shifts in my career was discovering Tableau and subsequently implementing it across Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. It’s been over 4 years now since I started using Tableau and it has without doubt changed my working life. Finding a solution that can really add value in the NHS is truly motivating.
I am the co-leader of the Northwest Tableau User Group (#NWTUG) and the UK Healthcare Tableau user group (#UKHealthTUG). I love being part of these groups and love bringing fellow Tableau enthusiasts together through these forums.
Last year I won the first Future Digital Health Leader Award at the Digital Health Awards. I still can’t quite believe I was nominated nevermind won, it was so amazing to be recognised in such a way. It was both motivating and humbling.
I live in the Peak District with my partner and two young boys. I love being a mum, and challenge myself everyday to make sure I have a good worklife balance!
I decided that 2019 was the year I would starting blogging, so here I am blogging. I hope you enjoy my blogs!
